THank you for informing me that poetry is meant to express and not to compete. You shouldn't take things so literal, as all I wanted was for people to ahve fun and come up with some neat stuff. so stay away with your "poetry is not meant to be a war." It's just a game here geez

Texas has the idea...in that
poems are to express not to compete
Yet haiku is traditionally
to express an `aha` moment in nature
not to expound a theory.
Excuse poor M.T.R.being involved in causig a war against free speech
and is unleashing obscenities T`.D.`ing .....it must be lerv lerv lerv :) (:...
or some misplsced avatar-anger.Sorry..it just must be the result of moany gossippy mails I think.

I wouldn't put poetry into a war category, nor do I think of it as a competitive sport, but I'll offer one.
The fragile willow
bends, the sturdy oak may break
in wind driven storms

sometimes oaks may break
but sometimes the willow is split
by lightning, and dies

Enlightment is a theory about knowledge...or at least intuition.

Also many great warriors retired to become prolific and iconic poets that wrote Haiku religiously.
