What's happened to the bbc breakfast show?

The National Union of Journalists is staging one day's industrial action today.

This is certain to affect the BBC's news broadcasts. Some news programmes may be cancelled or shortened.

Blimey! Just checked - Breakfast is only on for 1/2 hour, and then Escape to the Bloody Country!! Hmmmmm, methinks there might be a strike in the offing. Re-runs of more garbage, anyone?

I havent got a clue... but i thought i were going off my head... kept pressing one on the remote and bargain hunt were still there.... pressed the guide and its MEANT to be there..... what is going on with BBC Breakfast??

It's due to 'industrial action', (strike) by the National Union of Journalism. Guess they needed time off to look after their sprogs for half term!!

I gather the news people are on strike!! Thank goodness, no Susanna Reid to avoid this morning!!
