Is TAGB International or World Taekwondo Federation?

I think TAGB is independent. They definitely seem to be worth training with. This is coming from someone that doesn't really like TKD.

Yes, we do have fists, as well as knees, elbows, head. I suggest get into MMA, and if that's not possible, then arts like Muay Thai (or even just American kickboxing if MT isn't available), wrestling, Judo, BJJ, etc Don't waste your time with TKD unless you like to lose.

This is what it says about TAGB TKD's "continuous sparring rules"

"On a continuous sparring square, there are 4 corner judges, each with a score keeping device. Each time they see a point being scored, they record it and at the end of a two minute round, they show who scored the most points.

There is also a referee, who follows the fight in the centre of the square. They have the control to stop the fight, but do so only if necessary (i.e. heavy contact has been used, or the fight goes outside the area)...."

Do you see that? Sparring is stopped if "heavy contact has been used" in other words, this is "light contact sparring". Does that sound realistic? Heck no. Avoid these clowns.

But go ahead and tell Jade Jones and Lutalo Muhammad that their "kicks only" is crap. I dare you. You wouldn't last 10 seconds in a match with either one of them.
