Probability Density Function?
Given f(x)=Cx^2-3x
Determine C which makes f a valid probability density function, the given interval is from -1 to 1...i determined C which is equal to 3/2 i believe however Cx^2-3x isnt all positive if c=3/2.

You are absolutely correct!
C must equal 3/2 in order for the integral to equal 1 over [-1,1]
But, as you noted, f(x) turns negative [0,1]
Must be a typo in the problem.
