What if you lived in your own society?

I'd get rid of the imperial system and make everyone use the metric system instead, ONCE AND FOR ALL. Then, I would have my minions construct the largest flying llama ranch the world has ever seen, where we would boost our trade with outsiders through the sales of their magical wool. Lastly, I would make television advertisements illegal, except for the funny ones. And I mean the ones that are actually funny, not stupid and annoying. I would also require that J. J. Abrams be captured, and never allowed to work on anything involving the Star Wars franchise. We all remember Lost. *shudders*

And as far as what role Govt. would have, I would be the Emperor of my little society-turned-empire, so I guess that about sums it up.

I would live in a Constitutional Republic (the US is currently a oligarchy). Government would be very limited only infrastructure like roads, a few peace officers (different than law enforcement), small army for defense only. It would have maximum free markets top tax bracket 10%. Social policy- If it does not hurt anyone else you can do it.

Free drugs, free beer, free creature comforts, orgies would be holy and TV programming would actually be viewable by people other than those possessing the mind of a 12 year old with mommy issues.

I would live in Western Canada and everyone would either be highly educated or highly skilled.
