sliced wraps: spread a flour tortilla with cream cheese, big leaf spinach, sliced red pepper and maybe some thinly sliced cheese or turkey. Wrap up, slice into rounds. Delicious and pretty.

Well, you could go southwest-ish. Chips, salsa, guacamole, queso fundido or seven layer bean dip. A taco bar if you want to get fancy. Fresh fruit, crackers and cheese is always good and always easy.

you'll need a box of Ritz crackers or any other of your favorite butter rounds a bag of frozen shrimp I usually get the medium ones from walmart, there are about 50 to a bag already cooked and peeled, I thaw them over night in the frig and depending on how thick you layer the cream cheese 1 or 2 boxes. I use the pickled jalipino slices in a jar from the pickle section at walmart and try to get the ones that are mild to suit everyones taste. this was my intrepetation of Joes Crab shack appetizer called 'balls of fire' theirs is much hoter and not as flavorful.

Purchase pineapple in big chunks. Wrap a thin piece of bacon around it, fasten with a toothpick, and put it under the broiler . Everyone loves this. Also, good ole' boiled shrimp with dipping sauce. Rice Krispie treats...easy to make and everyone loves them. Good recipe: Combine can of black beans (drained), can of corn (drained), and some chopped onion. Mix into marinade of 1/2 sugar and 1/2 vinegar.

Pigs in blankets, hummus and pita chips, veggie tray and dip, chips and salsa, shrimp cocktail (all of which you can get premade at sam's club).
