Why is my computer suddenly slow?

My computer just got slow all of a sudden. The first startup was retardedly slow. I tried to check for viruses and junk files but that didn't help a ****. I've even tried restarting it in Safe Mode, nothing helps. It all happened alluva sudden (so it can't be the computers age) and I haven't downloaded/updated any softwares lately. Also it's the computer itself (which I've mentioned a million times) which is slow so don't even answer "buy a new internet".

Update:

@I_LIKE_FISHING: Read everything i wrote again from square 1.

@Sé: Thnx, but this isn't just an "you need to download this problem". It happened all of a sudden.

@Ruby: Yes, I check for problems all the time on my pc.

you should try downloading ''advanced system care'' and install it, its free! And do a full scan, it takes a while but once its done you should notice a difference in the speed of your computer.

    Hope this helps!

On start up if you have a cd in the tray or a usb device plugged in windows will check them for any information it may need to start up which will slow it down. You may also have unnecessary application that are running on start up in the background.

This link can help you with this. Another option is to defrag your hard drive which is the site below.
