Is this possible?? (Knee problem)?

I'm writing a story.

This girl dislocates her knee water skiing. She is rushed to the ER. she has to have an arteriography, where they insert a catheter up your groin and inject dye In it...then take pictures to see if any blood vessels or arteries were damaged in the injury. Turns out she did have damage. But in one place, the dye didn't flow correctly, reached her brain, and caused her to have a mini stroke. She's rushed in for emergency surgery and stays at the hospital for 4 days.

Realistic or not?

Ehhh, sounds pretty interesting :p but honestly, pretty far-fetched.
