What are something's to do in wellington?

I love Wellington. Hope you get some nice weather. If the weather is good,Take a day trip on the ferry to picton and back.

The Cable car which you will find in a lane in lambton Quay is worth the ride to get views of The City and you can wander all around the Botanical gardens up there. They are lush and beautiful.

The Zoo used to be good but I haven't been for many years. I guess it's still good.

Take a walk around oriental Bay. Very pretty.

Te papa museum.

Maybe there will be some Rugby on if you are interested or the races

Take The johnsonville train for a return journey taking you through the tunnels and hills .That won't take long you can maybe take a few hours and hop off to wander around from one of the Stations.

The shopping area in The City is lovely. Super food at some coffee shops and browse the Book shops. There are some wonderful New Zealand books scenic ones ,kids Books, NZ recipe books etc. I love walking the City with all the boutique shops. There will be much more to do . Go into a tourist office for some more ideas.
