The Book of Mormon is a Second Witness or Testimony of Christ, the Savior and Redeemer of the world.
It is scripture, it is the word of God demonstrating that what God says to one people, he says to all. He works the same in one part of the world as in another.
As God lives, I testify that the Book of Mormon is real, true, and the word of God to his people today.
P.S. anything coming from Parker/Stone can be discounted as unreliable, biased, prejudiced attacks on that which is good and just.

this has been debunked so many times in so many ways,
you obviously haven't researched any opposing view,
so why would you expect anyone to do what you will not do?
The BoM contains plagiarism, repetition, plagiarized mistakes repetition and repetition
1 nephi 8 is a direct rip-off of a dream that smith's father had!
the book was concocted over a period of at least 2 years, rather than the 60 days claimed
smith was known to be well read and was very familiar with the bible
many of the names used are found in place names of the area around where smith lived

Awesome statistics, to be the single author of such a work would be impossible.
That's why the promise near the end, for those who are sincere is sure. That those who read it with a sincere heart, and with real intent can't possibly come away from studying the book without knowing for a fact that it is the work of God.
@Dan: I love your link, every time someone compares the Book of Mormon to another authors literary prose.. it's always fiction? Why is that? The trick is to compare it to fact, not fiction. Comparing the Book of Mormon to any work of fiction is comparing apples to oranges, LOL. And how many of these fictional authors had over 3 years of formal education... all of em?

Parker and Stone do. That's Trey Parker and Matt Stone, authors of the hit Broadway play, "The Book of Mormon."
Oh...and they also do South Park.

You are asking me if I can log in to Facebook? No, and I still think the Book of Mormon is fake.

Really? You want me to read the rantings of a con artist in order to prove it's validity?
Sorry, guy: I already read it. Also, my grandmother is Native American, and I am fairly certain her tribe never massacred any Israelite's to have their skin painted red.
Mormonism is to Christianity what Scientology is to religion: a joke.

The Book Of Mormon Another Testament Of Jesus Christ
is a book that should be read from cover to cover
before it is judged by those who are sincere in their hearts.
So many people miss that part.

I've read it. It isn't really that good, or that complicated. Smith had years to work the story out, and he didn't publish it until he was 24.
Have you read Lord of the Rings? It's more complex, so it must be even truer, eh?

All religious books are fiction and no I'm not signing up for Facebook to take your challenge.
