Riots about food in Greece?

Question

I'm hearing controversial rumors about banks and supermarkets being robbed, free food being distributed in the streets, arrested people beaten up in prison.... can someone please shed some light?
Some say the Italian media are keeping silent on the matter because election day is quickly approaching and they don't want us to know before we vote.
What is really going on in Greece?

ONLY RUMOURS....  people are having it tuff..but it is not the vivid picture you paint..... there are soup kitckens  in and around athens... and every one is helping each other the best they can..it will take a toll on greeks on whole but with perserverance ..iam convinced if propaganda polotics stay out of it,that greece will find its footing in few years...

Non e vero. It's a financial crisis. There are more homeless people, poor people etc but the streets are safe to walk. The biggest problem is the illegal immigrants but having been to Italy very recently I'm telling you that it is in worse shape than Greece. Sad but true.

Don't vote for Cavaliere. You need to get your country back on track immediately.
