Mine was when i wating in line to buy a lotterie ticket ..not realizing my next door co worker was 2 people behind me, he saw the number of my ticket.... 3 weeks later he said \that he heard on the radio that a certain number has won first prize of a million dollars..and that it was bought in our area.. and he took the number down..all the time him being cool.. so i took the ticket out of my wallet and looked at my number agaisnt the numbers he gave me... and i felt so weak at the knees..and my face went all white..then joy and xara kai xoropidima....lol....untill i calmed down and he told me what he did...then i chased him with a butchers knife....... TWN BASTARDO...i think he still running... now i just laugh about it this happened 30 years ago..i was only 17 he was 45.... MY first lesson in life...never belive what others tell you..

I been reading latley many issues in cypriot and the greek finacial promblems..untill i came across one sentence ,especialy leading tot he cypriot fiancial promblem...(the cypriot financial promblem is due to the fact that much home hording was active on the island and no tax was paid,,)

NOW if my history serves me correct greeks have been buring money and treasures since the year dot..mostly to be procted from other invasion from result of war or occuaption of greece...

now days its off shore banking or skiming black money in to readliy aviabale well hidden funds...or tax haveans..

it wasn,t too long ago when people where still finding (xryses lires and treausers) in fields buried from the turkish occuaption and the greek war of indepence..

now considering today banking age and readly credits and the dreaded ATM..avialability..

I think most greeks saw this as so called money in the wall..NOT thiers...

thiers was buried under the mattress at home and such..

greeks have been great workers and work two to three jobs to achive what they need but seem to think that by hording black money it all thier ..it is in a way but when u go to buy a property th e goverment must ask you where did you get this money...!

But the fakelaki and (O theos sto messon)..saw that question eliminated as to where you obtained that money ...off course the fakelaki only spread the black money to the revicer of the fakelaki.

despite all this ...the what i call the blindness of greeks is that most greeks try to do the right thing by saving thier money....BASICLY TO A GREEK THIER MONEY IS THIER GAINS AND NO ONE ELSES..NOT EVEN THE TAX DEPARTMENT..basicly it is an inbred old thought that most greeks have which is not current to todays banking and taxing procedures..al though not all greeks cant understand or wont accept it some do..

but you cant run a country on just few greeks doing the right thing can you....

SO is it natrual for greeks to hord YES.... do they do it to avoid tax? NO REMBER THEY SEE IT AS THIER OWN GAIN..

The goverment,s now and before should have put in hidden taxes in procuts and services to avoid the trouble it is today

this way many greeks would have done nothing.wrong

Now the world accuse us as not hard working and just lazy banannas on the beach,and we seen as demanding other peoples money from foreing countries.. for the sake of staying in the EU....

even though the whole mechanations of the EU is a dirty money hungry bussines all dressed in diplomas and fine suits a respectable group of mafiosos...

they trying to change the greek to thier modern idea of banking and tax,,,..no it not a new world order ,but just a vicious and ruthless gang of robbers dressed in moneky suits with diplomas ..nto only that now

THEY GOT 3 MONKEYS CALLED A TROIKA... tellign us what we have to do... and all this in the worls public view .humiliantign all greeks especialy those who have been hard workers...

OUR youth is perplexed and disoriantated as what thier future might be,,no jobs no future not personal wealth no futher education or secure job to make a family secure nothing they are up in the air..and we cant help them or look them rigth in the eye...

IS IT TOO LATE TO STEP OUT OF THE DRAGONS MOUTH THE .(eu) an its gestapo monkeys..and go DRACHMA..!!

i think yes... we can stopp paying these monkeys thier blood money......and live on the drachma and start once more from the bottom we doen it before we can do it again... we have enough resorurces to survive...

THESE ARE HIDDEN TREASURES OF GREECE.... and if we are not smart enough they the MONKEYS will take them off us.......lets all act now as one nation forget all political parties lets be just one ELLAS enna lambro FOS..

we dont need holes in the wall............
