Is the US and Sweden approaching a state of Cold War?

In the past the US was said to be in a 'Cold War' with Russia (the USSR) because of 'Ideological Differences.' With the Citizen's United ruling which allows US Corporations 100% control of US politicians the US is now run by the Corporations for the Corporations, some of which are not even US Corporations anymore (i.e. 7-11, which was bought by Japan).

Sweden is run For the People by the People, which is now ideologically opposite of the United States. Take for example the ruling of Swedish courts against Wikileaks and The Pirate Bay, both of which the majority of Swedish Citizens were FOR.

The rulings were largely the result of Corporate Espionage, Bribery, and Blackmail conducted by US Corporate Interests, much like what happened between the USSR and the US during the Cold War. So the analogy could be made that the US is rapidly approach a Cold War status with Sweden and any other country that opposes their corporate interests.

What are your thoughts?

Update:

It's interesting to me that because Sweden isn't a large county, some of the answers seem to completely discount it's power and influence in the World Theater (as I understand the Full Spectrum folks like to call it, i.e. World Wide Theater of Operations).

The ridicule of small (probably bought and paid for) minds aside, people forget that Germany is similar in size to Sweden and Nazi-Germany almost took over all of Europe.

Yes, the US was in conflict with the USSR over resources, but there was no one strategic resource that both powers did not have access to and needed. Both had full access, the battle was largely Ideological, i.e. 'Ideas'

Interesting thought, but Sweden doesn't exert the same kind of influence that the USSR did, so I doubt that there will be real tensions between the US and Sweden.

I think than other than chosing to buy (or not buy) a Volvo

(or Abba records) most people FORGET that sweden actually exists

without actually chosing to ignore Sweden... which they would likely

do if they bothered to give the matter any actual thought.

This comes from someone who has a several old Saabs in my

    and yard...
