Birth control and sex.. Effectiveness?

I've been very tired lately. And I have skipped any pills but I've accidentally taken two in one day, two days in a row. Am I still effective? Also I just had sex today, no condom and he didn't finish.

How many pills have you skipped? If you have skipped 3 pills, then you should throw away that pack and start on a new one. If you take two pills in a day, then you should call your doctor. if you did this two days in a row, then you really really need to call your doctor. If you don't take your pill at the same time every day, then it is not effective. If you have skipped pills in the last month, then you are not effective until you start a new pack and begin to take it correctly.

How many days did you skip? On the instructions, it usually says if you skipped three days take 2 pills for the next three days and then return to schedule. If you skipped four days I believe you just stop taking it and let your period come and star a new pack. You will not be protected I think.

But, check your instructions to be sure. Not all instructions are the same for different pills or dosages.

At best, with PERFECT use, the pill is only 98% effective, but no human is perfect, and you are really messing with its effectiveness.

You should never rely solely on the pill, you should ALWAYS back it up with condom use.

It doesn't matter if the guy finishes or not, as soon as he is erect enough for sex, he will be producing precum, which contains sperm, and it only takes one sperm to make a baby.

The pill is ninety two-ninety 9.7% effective. somewhat some the effectiveness relies upon on if your GF is taking them on the comparable time time-honored (any time she misses a pill the effectiveness is decreased). yet while she's taking them properly (in no way misses a pill) then it somewhat is going to nonetheless be merely as effective whether you ejaculate in her because of the fact the pill works by utilizing combating the ovaries from freeing an egg... no eggs, no being pregnant regardless if there is sperm. donning a condom will make it much extra effective yet somewhat merely the start administration ought to be adequate... condom and start administration is being great duper risk-free lol.
