1. 2(3w+2) + 2w =28
8w = 24
w = 3 & length =11
2. M + m = 58
2m + 10 = M;
2m + 10 + m = 58
3m = 48 so m= 12 and Mom is 58 - 12 = 46

Mary's mother's age= 42 Years old
