Fedex Express saver or USPS priority mail...?

I'm buying some stuff online and these are my options: USPS priority mail or Fedex Express. Both are about the same price. Which one is typically faster...?

Fedex Express guarantees in 3 days, often faster.

USPS Priority mail can arrive in 2-3 days. Very often, USPS will arrive in 2 days depending on whether you live near a major metropolitan area or not. They don't offer a guarantee though...Meaning if they happen to mess up and delay, you can't make them cough up the cost of shipping.

Fedex Express Saver is guaranteed to take 3 business days, (No Saturdays), however Jeff is wrong. They will never deliver it a day earlier. Even if the package arrives at the location in 2 days, they will sit on it until the 3rd day in order to not cannibalize sales of their 2 day service. If they miss delivery, you can make them refund the shipping due to their guarantee. So they have more incentive to deliver on schedule since they have your $$ to lose.

If you want to take a tiny gamble to get it in possibly 2 days with Saturday delivery, choose Priority Mail. If you want little bit of peace of mind with a guarantee and if making an exact date is important, choose FedEx Express Saver.
