No, there are plenty in existence to charge people who commit a crime.

If a 10 bullet to a mag limit is implemented. The criminals it is intended to stop, won't be detoured.

With all the hype about guns being perceived as bad in the hands of the common man and that many times a person can't walk down the road with a gun on his hip without 911 being called.

If a crazy person were to start shooting up your car or your house and one of you had 10 bullets and the other 30, what number would you want on your side.

for the people who say 10 is enough for any situation anyone may need, how about limiting the police to 10 also?

And the whole concept of restricting something

because a few(considered by population% not total number) use it for bad purposes is rediculous when you think about it.

a FEW people use guns badly so we should restrict EVERYONE'S access

a FEW people use drugs badly so we should restrict EVERYONE'S access

a FEW people use driving badly so we should restrict EVERYONE'S access

and when you talk about any kind of gun control laws, how will they be ENFORCED?

If someone refuses to comply, will a social worker with a clipboard go to the house to speak with the person and ask politely? Or will men with high power firearms storm the person's house to confiscate the weapons like what happened after katrina?

What gun control law? Personally I don't believe in gun control unless it's for someone like the guy who shot me in the back for no reason I can figure since I didn't do anything to him. Or Adam Lanza, the baby killer, or James Holmes, who's just a monumental, evil freak.

But I do believe in gun safety, and I think too many of the wrong people have guns; people who have no idea how to treat them with respect and not as toys, people who use them for the wrong reasons, or people who equate guns and shootings with what they see on television and in movies, which resembles reality as much as a cactus resembles softness.

My brother's owned guns for over 30 years, he started when he was 7, and he's never done anything wrong with them unless you think killing animals is wrong. But currently it's legal to hunt deer in season.

I think people like my brother can handle what it means to own a gun, but other people have proven they don't deserve one.

There's no way you can tell which one is responsible, but having background checks is a good idea for at least TRYing to find the dangerous ones.

Obama would not help strict gun administration legislations and the democrats in congress have not proposed any. this may well be a pretend rumor meant to spur gun revenues. the craze has no longer been to "slowly visit pot our rights to weapons". seem up the history of hid carry rules and you will see that the craze has been in direction of liberalizing gun rules. There are fewer possession and registration regulations now than ever earlier.

No,Making something against the law will not always stop it.. If guns were ever against the law than only the bad guys would have them..

Having a gun will not help all the time but being defenseless will never help..

    ===============================

Calling 911 and asking the bad guy to wait is not a viable option

Better to have a gun and not need it than to need it and not have it!!!

No. I think that the administration will fall flat. The legislation does not go after criminals. It goes after people that follow laws. It does nothing to make stricter punishments for gun offenders.

Yes. I believe it will require background checks for all gun purchases [including private and gun-show sales], ban large capacity magazines that hold more than 10 rounds, expand a ban on assault weapons, require guns to be stored more safely and toughen the enforcement of existing gun laws.

No, but I do think some sensible safety regulations will be passed and that universal background checks will be implemented.
