can you use jello gelatin the same way you would use Knox gelatin?

I am making, No bake cheesecake and it calls for Knox's gelatin (unflavored). Will jello-gelatin work the same way.

Yes, but you will end up w the flavor & coloration of whatever Jello you use.

Yes and no. Knox's is just gelatin. Jello has colour, flavour, and sugar as well as gelatin. It would take some adjustment of ingredients to substitute though I suppose it could be done. But you'd be stuck with whatever flavour the Jello is.
