This is a component of the developed passive anti-theft. Your key has a specific code in it that has to be mainly programmed by using an auto store in order that men and women can't simply make a replica. In case you try to begin the auto and the engine doesn't discover the code from the important thing it will think that you are trying to "steal" your automobile with a fake key. It'll then cut off the gas pump so your vehicle are not able to start. You will absolutely ought to take it to a vendor to have a brand new key made, or you could attempt to use an extra key you probably have one. As for the honking and flashing lights, that's your vehicle alarm going off considering of the detected "false" key.

Bad alternator, have it tested to verify. A bad battery will not make the car stall.
