Past Lives, or Great Imaginations?
Many people claim to "remember" having lived before, some in great detail. Accepting that they really have & can do this; Why is it that people can never remember where they were in the spirit realm in that time between lives? .. And, Why can these same people never remember growing in the womb & being born? ... The body & brain might not yet be capable of remembering such things, but if in spirit a person can remember one life ater another, why not this?

As interesting as always! I only know that in our human bodies there is a conscious mind and a SUB-conscious. Two different parts od the mind and the sub-conscious plays a LOT of "input" into the conscious mind.....even though most people do not realize this.....To TRY and answer your question. I would think that what I have stated above as something with the "maturity" of the human mind as we all know, babies "grow" by every experience and maturity........Even "us old folks"....Correction...Us MATURE people..

IMHO, the "remember" part is not a function of the individual. I have considerable experience to suggest the average Homo Sapiens is strongly telepathic. As such, we are not a society of individuals. Rather, we are individuals subsumed in a gestalt society which functions as a single organism (although not very efficiently due to individual and collective rebellion). I propose this gestalt organism to have a collective memory. When an individual experiences "having lived before" they are actually experiencing a memory node of this collective memory. Given such a collective memory, the evidence for reincarnation or any sort of spirit realm vanishes.

People don't really remember previous lives in great detail, if they did historians would eagerly be asking them questions, and past lives would quite easily be verified.
I'm sure if you ask around enough you'll find someone that has made up some story about what they were up to in between lives and how it felt in the womb too.

If you read my hypothesis on reincarnation on here under religion it will explain what you ask we were here before we are orbs who each have unique DNA codes we possess bodies at birth then when the body grows old dies we leave said body and wait for rebirth that's my view that's why life is a cycle
