What Navy rating would I have to choose if I want to be in Costal Riverine Force?

Gunners Mate (GM) Or Bosuns Mate (BM) but CRF is one of the most competitive billets out there. Unless you are top of your class at A school and there is an available position there, you probably won't get it.

This guy is talking about CRF, which is the tricycle version of SWCC, it's under NECC.

There is a single rating called "Special Warfare Boat Operator".

It has all of the information regarding training and application. The qualifications will be handled by your Navy Recruiter.
