I learned both as a kid but I prefer automatic because I actually got stuck on a steep, curvy hill driving a manual VW van. If a man had not been at his mailbox further up and had not come running to help, I could have rolled all the way back down or landed in a ditch. I have never, ever driven that hill since that day!

That is dependent. I live and work in a country the place hills are very usual. Despite the fact that i'm also dwelling and working in a rural area, the nation the place i am is so overpopulated that the visitors go with the flow is more densed than in Australia or North the united states, peculiarly while you go into a small city. In case you reside in North the united states on flat lands, Australia, or South Africa, using handbook is better (however now not inthe significant cities). If you are in South Korea, drive automatic.

I don't really mind either way, as long as it gets me from A to B and doesn't give me any grief in between I'm happy.
