How were wagon wheels made?

Ok I know this sounds dumb but how were wagon wheels made? Were different size trees cut down to make the different size wheels? How was the wood bent or warped to make the wheel? If there is a web site could you post it. Thanks

the people that made them where called wheelwrights. They would make the hub(center) first then put in spokes they would then attache outer wheel in sections, they would then add the metal hoop by heating it and banging it on when it cooled it got tight
