why does yahoo keep changing yahoo homepage?

Although I cannot peer into the masterful minds which radically altered and severely worsened the homepage and news, I think that it is clear that they were not thinking much or clearly. This new homepage is disorganized; its stories are in no particular order and certainly are not placed into any meaningful categories of related items. It makes getting to the stories and reading them much more difficult. It makes getting to links less easy. Yahoo needs to quit making changes for the sake of change (don't fix that which ain't broke!) and reinstall its previous homepage and news layout. Maybe it needs to hire people who took classes in journalism and English writing.

I looked around and found that n e t v i b e s comes closest to giving yahoo homepage experience. It is very flexible and you can receive Yahoo news feeds. Its only downside is that you can not change the font size which can make it very small type.

Yahoo has been testing a new homepage for the last few months. Mine became permanent Wednesday, this week.

I don't think the latest change is having the desired affect they were looking for. I'll bet you market share is moving away from yahoo.

Everyone start using ca.yahoo.com! This is the Canada Yahoo site. It has the original home webpage we are all used to. This will prove to yahoo that we want our old home page back.

Because they believe that us yahoo users are to stupid to notice the change no were paying let some one else's do the job as your not able to perform to the need of the public

I LOVED Best of My Yahoo. Makes me so mad they changed it. I pay for my service. Seriously considering changing it for the first time in years.

Because the CEO is a big liberal. And like all good liberals, she has to screw things up. Like the liberal motto goes "If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is". But don't expect them to change it back anytime soon. Even though pretty much nobody likes it, she knows better than you and you're just too stupid to see her "brilliance".

I think Marissa Mayer is trying to get fired to activate her golden parachute.
