what are the most effective weapons in your options like if you are able to use them why there good?

i can effectively use weapons that people say are in effective or careless the kama is a form of scythe it is double edged and sized down to hold in one hand there are diferent kinds of kama such as the chain kama it was also natorius for unskilled users killing them selves. then there is the death scythe a larger then an averge scythe with a strate shaft and a large wide singal edge blade and it is also heavyish but if you know how to use one i would say it is the best posabul weapon only disadvantage is small spaces, idoits think its ineffectiv i wold like to why thay think that yes it is kind of leathal to unskilled users and takes a lot of training but if you know how to use it then its the best weapon ever in so many ways

tell me why you think a serien weapon is good or better the them

if you want to know why a death scythe or why kamas are not used in wars , why there good and how to use them

go to ask a say "why a scythe"+ a number or subject if it dose not work as a tidal then ask the question in the detailes and i will anser besides than tell me why you think a weapon is good

Several comments for you. If you lay a bunch of different tools on the floor, which one is most effective? None, because tools do nothing by themselves. People must use them for them to be effective. The same as martial arts. They do only what people make them do and only as well as the person using them can do.

As for the Kama,..... As far as I know there were/are no traditional Kama that are double-edged. These days martial arts supply companies make up all kinds of trash to sell people that usually don't know how to correctly use a weapon anyway. So it is possible that some supplier is selling double-edged Kama.

The Kama you mentioned with a chain attached was explained by Samuraiwarrior... That is a special Kama called a Kusarigama (spelled gama instead of Kama, although you will see it both ways). The chain has a weight on the end and is used to entangle an opponents weapon before using the Kama blade to finish him.

If you are scouting about for a program that is dependable and stylish all at one time then you would get this program https://tr.im/5Bchp Patriot Self Defense .

Using the Patriot Self Defense is very easy because is made so that anyone can use it. This system not only contain a guide that understand you wherever are the wickless level of your opponent to be able to defend yourself but also you will have the films where you could see, firsthand steps to make the move that are discussed in the book.

Naturally I think the most effective weapon is the gun.

But in traditional martial arts training, I actually think the staff is the most practical. Because a staff can be anything. It can take the form of a broom, a rake, etc. Even the katana would be good. Some weapons I think are less practical are the nunchakus, because in today's times, no one just carries those around, nor is there any immediate "analog" that I can think of for them.

But knowing how to shoot and properly handle a gun, a knife, and a staff or katana are good.

But basically I think weapons that can "translate" to every day items are the best weapons to learn.

For today’s world, if I one were to pick a single hand to hand weapon to become proficient with, I’d say the simple fighting knife. I don’t mean butterfly sword or kukri knife. I mean a good 4” to 6” conventional bladed knife.

Most people can carry some form of knife with them, there are knives all around us, and you don’t need a particular physical skill set to use one effectively. A knife is easily concealed and many times, legally carried. All things considered, modern and practical knife use to me is a priority.

Picking up some skills in a form of short staff or even katana isn’t bad, either. A short staff or sword in the dojo could represent a baseball bat, broomstick, or even table leg in the street.

As for traditional weapons, eh, they’re fun, and they have a historical mystique to them. That being said, how often are you going to find a set of chucks or a tonfa laying around? And if you’re carrying your own, eh, that could be a legal hassle if an officer were to find out. Maybe, maybe not.

All THAT being said, when our school is blessed to have experienced teachers come by to do self-defense workshops, the first thing they generally ask is where they can safely store their handguns during their visit. We simply tell them they can store them right beside all of our instructors’ handguns in the school. Anyone “of age” that isn’t training modern defensive handgun in parallel with their martial arts training is probably missing out on their most effective means of self-defense.

You need to do more reading and research I think about traditional and Okinawan weapons. There are a number of different types of kamas and I think you are confusing some of this in your follow-on comments. Kamas with a chain usually had a weight at the end of that chain of considerable length and that weight could be sent out like a missal striking your adversary. The chain was used for helping to generate more force to do this with as well as for snarling and entrapping your opponent or his weapons so that he could not effectively wield them, making him vulnerable to your attacking with your second kama. These types of kamas were called kama kasari.

Regular kama might have a loop of cord attached or might not and this was primarily for not losing either as well as for aiding in attacking. This did not make them so effective as much as the fact that they were normally used in pairs and a person could attack with each independent of the other as well as use one for defending while attacking with the other. This made them especially effective against other types of longer weapons like swords and spears even which would only be used and employed singularly by a person wielding one of them.

If you do some reading of feudal Okinawa there are many stories of Japanese soldiers and even samurai being beaten or defeated by peasants and farmers who instead fought with traditional weapons. That term "traditional weapons" means that they were farm tools and farm implements converted for use as weapons and regular kamas were used for chopping and harvesting.

You might think a gun but if someone is stupid to get close then they could be disarmed.

There's only 1 thing that a human can definitely not beat and that is a wild animal like a Polar Bear, Silverback Gorilla, Tiger, Lion etc.

My favourite types of weapons are Nunchaku, Sai, Sword and Staff.

Well, I think you aleady know my style of weapen by my name. Nunchuks. I like nunchuks (nanchaku, many names) because they don't kill but "paralyze". If you smash someone's hand with nunchuks, lol good luck using that hand for few weeks. And like you said, only skilled users right? Well, you should know that nunchuks are not easy to use, tons of people tried using them and smashed their face (or nuts). If you drop nunchuks durng a fight, your enemy can't just pick them up and use them agianst you (well, there is a chance he can you them too, but it's very slim).
