Name of John Travolta's Movie?

Ages ago I remember watching a Movie with John Travolta in it. I was very young back then probably in early teens. The ONLY scene I remember from the movie is...

He is in the court-room waiting on the judge to appear to start his case. Just before the Judge enters the opposition seems to make an offer of $2 million.

Does anyone know what is the name of the movie, feel like watching it even though I don't remember it.

    I'm pretty sure it's "A Civil Action" (1998). Google it.
