computer fan problems?

Ok so my computer fan is constantly making a loud noise. I have 3 fans in my PC the GPU fan is fine the CPU fan is fine but I have a fan on the side of my computer that feels like its pulling in cold air and that is the fan that is making the noise is it ok to unplug until i get a new fan? and is this fan essential for the system?

The most common causes of a loud computer fan is either a wire being in the way of the fan and it keeps hitting it or your computer is running a lot of programs or a very resource-demanding program like a video game or encoding video.

Check the fan and see if there's a wire in the way and move it if that's the problem.

Worse case is that you may need to replace the fan - which they are usually very cheap. (desktop fans)

Essential yes; it is drawing air in while the other case fan (you should have at least one the same size as the intake fan) moves the heat away. Check it with the case open and see if there are any obstructions like wires or case parts causing the noise. Order a new one if you can't find the source of the noise. Measure the frame of it with a ruler then convert inches to millimeters on Google and order that size and make sure you get the same style plug.

as long as your not stressing the computer and you have other intake fans you should be fine to run it with out the side fan for a few days

    hey

if your system become heated then you will have to change this fan as soon as possible. first of all check its after unplugging this fan, if your system became heated then bought the new one and change it if doesn't then not necessary to change .
