Why are people of Today, so willing to try to work 'Magick' & 'Witchcraft' from modern books?

First off, the "K" is a fad that not all Witches use. I am a Witch and find it looks ridiculous to add a "k" to the end of magic. Period! The "k" is only to give it an old world feel. No one spells "old" with an "e" anymore, so why is it necessary (if not mandatory according to you) to spell magic with a "k"?

Second, magic in movies is so far from reality, reality cannot be seen anymore. They may "think" they're using historical basis for their shows, but really? You honestly think the stuff on "charmed" and "the craft" use anything realistic and historically based? Hardly.

Thirdly, because ONE Witch writer claims all modern writers just make stuff up, means they're right? How do you think historical Witchcraft was done? By making stuff up. There's nothing wrong with that, so why make it out like the only thing legit is something that comes from a worn, beat up book? Whose really to say that what comes out of that torn, beat up book is any more legitimate than something I write? Certainly not you.

My question to you is, who are you to determine what's legitimate or not?

There are books about witchcraft, yet that couldn't the position you'll study about demons. in case you want to study about the flexibility of demons and the thanks to regulate them, then you genuinely opt to understand what's termed intense magic or ceremonial magic. those are the flaws that were studied (and are nonetheless by technique of a few) by technique of occult communities including the OTO and others.
