I just need to confirm if I am correct about this. I was getting a little confused on whether something is testable or not. I know that makes me sound dumb but for things like saying one person is taller, I would say thats testable but at the same time you wouldnt need to test it because its an obvious thing that can be observed and doesnt need to be tested. Its easy to say that someone is taller than someone else.

A) When a plant is placed on a window sill it grows faster than when it is placed on a coffee table in the middle of the living room.
B) The teller at the bank with brown hair and brown eyes is taller than the other tellers.
C) John caught four fish at the seven o’clock in the morning but didn’t catch any at noon.
D) Salaries at Smith and Company are based on the number of sales, and Billy makes 3,000 dollars more than Joe.
E) When Sally eats healthy foods and exercises regularly, her blood pressure is lower than when she does not exercise and eats fatty foods.
F) The Italian restaurant across the street closes at 9 pm, but the one two blocks away closes at 10 pm.

testable=you can make an experiment or study out of it. ie A is testable. you could have a plant in both places, give it the same food and water, and see which grows better. think of it like that

F would not be testable, because you can't test closing times. you could test if it said one makes more money than the other

E is testable, you could have subjects either eat health/exercise vs neither and check blood markers, etc


J is testable because you could have it in warm weather and test in cold and see which is faster.
