how to get permanent marker off?

how to get permanent marker off footy/soccer/rugby boots

I've tried turps,magic eraser but it wont come off. Any ideas???

The boots are smooth rubbery surface.

    You can't. Permanent Marker is essentially "Dye." So once You've scribbled it On, -you're STUCK with it. -Sorry.

    Write over the permadent marker with a expo marker then wipe it off with a wet paper towel.

    You could try WD 40 or methylated spirits.

    I have used methylated spirits on things before : )

    Try rubbing alcohol.
