How do I remove outlook.com permanently?

Hi Yahoo community members,

Did an upgrade from Hotmail to Outlook.com. I've tried removing Outlook Express, Outlook from add/remove programs, with no such luck. I am hoping someone can give me a step by step detail how I can permanently remove this. Of course posed this question to Microsoft forums without getting any help as of yet. Probably another Microsoft problem gone err. Thanks for any help.

Update:

It's Outlook.com I want to permanently remove.

I just figured if I used the add/remove program I could delete anything with outlook express, outlook.com anything to REMOVE this.

Outlook.com is a website. It's not installed on your computer.

Outlook Express is a part of XP and it cannot be uninstalled.

You're talking about 3 different things here. There is Outlook.com, the website and mail service. Outlook.com can be accessed from any web browser. It has nothing to do with anything else named Outlook.

There is Outlook the program. This is a combination calendar, mail reader, task scheduler, and organizer that comes with Microsoft Office. Many other applications and devices can synchronize with Outlook.

Then there is Outlook Express. It's a TOTALLY DIFFERENT program from Outlook. Outlook Express specializes in email and online forums. It came as part of the Windows operating system and CANNOT BE REMOVED.

If you don't want to use Outlook Express, then simply don't use it.
