How to report a user who emails me?
I answered a question the other day and now I'm getting some nasty emails sent through the Y!A system from this person. I know how to block the person, I know how I can turn off the feature to send me email but I don't want to do either. I'd rather be able to have people send me a private email for clarification or further help in the case of one and I just really want to report this jerk as he's harassing me (11 messages so far and the mildest of his insults are not allowable by the Community Guidelines to post here) and I really want to see the ban-hammer come down.
So is there a way to report to the Yahoo Staff a person who is being a harassing butt head?
Wish it was that simple. If it were a simple e-mail I could simply do a whois on the originating IP address of the mail. This is coming from Yahoo! Answers when you click on my profile and go to my Y!A page. There is a link that you can send a message to another user. When it comes into your inbox, it's a message from the Y!A system and there is a link that takes you to a similar page to the one they used to email me.
So any tracing I can do leads me back to Yahoo and I can't really block them. I'm looking for a way to report the person to the Y!A staff to hold them accountable for their impolite comments.

You can report about harassing it's violation of community guidelines. Send your issue with the person profile link to the yahoo answers staff. y_answrs_team@yahoo.com in the spell of answers "e"is missing but it's correct.
