If you are downloading pirated content, yes you can be tracked.
No pirating is ultimately safe.
If you don't want to risk getting caught pirating, get your content from authorized providers.

You can always be tracked if you're using your ISP. The provider can track it, leechers can track, and I think seeders can track as well.
Lots of people get caught but the government don't deal with most people. I know people who have gotten an actual mail from the government, giving them a warning.
Music and movie industries along with other organizations are trying to crack down on torrent users who are torrenting copyright materials

With Bitcomet and Utorrent which you can prefer person files to down load off a torrent. However why now not down load the complete album except you want best that Britney Spears single?
