What should I do in this situation?

There's this girl that I like and we've known each other for about 2 years. We aren't that close, but one day I asked her out and her response was "possibly" because she was busy. It has been about a month and I haven't talked to her since I asked her out, so in the time period I think she has been avoiding me and I kind of gave her some space as well(didn't pursue her or anything).

What do I do? I'm still trying to figure out if she's at all interested. I've seen some signs that she likes me but i can't really put it together. Should I just go out of my way to talk to her or what? We are friends, and I don't want to have some kind of awkward separation between us.
