for my essay i want to say that i want to give my parents the feeling of 'proudness'.

is that incorrect?

what other words can i use?

    I would just use the word proud. It is sufficient.

    You would say that you want them to "feel pride in you" or "be proud of you".

    Yes. Say "pride".
