Mandarin translation help?
I have to ask a native Chinese speaker their name (both English and Chinese name), occupation, and nationality for my Chinese final. (Beginner's course so keep it simple, please. ^^)
Would I say:
1. 你的中文名字是什么?
你的英文名字是什么?
Do I use 叫 here or do I stick with 是?
2. 你的工作是什么?
3. 你是哪国人? <-- Stupid question, I know, but it's part of the interview portion of the final.
Am I saying it right or do I need to fix something? I don't want to sound stupid in front of a native Chinese speaker. Thanks in advanced!

your expression is right. No need to fix. Either 叫 or 是 is OK to introduce one's name to others. Such as 我的名字是(叫)xxx, 我叫(是)xxx.
Hope it is helpful.
