    C = 2πr = 2(1)(π) = 2π units

    A = πr^2 = π(1^2) = π units^2

    where units can be inches, cm, etc.

    pi X radius^2 = area

    The area is pi.

    The circumference is Diameter X Pi

    Diameter = 2

    2pi

    Pi is just not an targeted quantity. It's 22 / 7 and repeats indefinitely so that you maybe experiencing rounding issues. Are trying resolving Pi to say the 4th decimal position then making use of that in the calculator's memory operate. At least you'll have a constant quantity base to work from

    π means pi or 3.141592654....

    r = radius (or half the diameter)

    d = diameter

    A = π r^2

    A = π1^ 2

    A = 1π or just π

    C = 2πr or πd

    C = 2π(1)

    C = 2π

    Area = π (3,14...) x r x r

    Perimeter = π x r x 2

    Area = π x 1 x 1 = 3,1415... Just leave it Answer: Area equals π.

    Perimeter = π x 1 x 2 = π x 2 Just leave it Answer: Area equals 2 π

    Note: Don't round unless the teacher tells you to.
