Am I doing the wrong thing?

Well, this girl named Lauren and I have been best friends for two years.. this year we started having fights, she got mad because I didn't hangout with her this summer. Well, I had my number changed. I lost her number & I told her multiple times I'm sorry. She told me I could of found out for asking her other friend "Jillian". Well, that leads to another story I DON'T like Jillian. If you knew her you would understand. One day she was at Jillian's house and she hanged up on me when we were facetiming . She told me not to facetime her and I was like.. why? She said because she doesn't wanna facetime someone that Jillian is not in good terms with. Listen to this.. I was nice to her ALL SUMMER okay. I talked to her I never said one word that was mean. I don't even know where she got that from. Then she said, "Oh but you can just text me". I told her off because I'm her BEST FRIEND and she's isn't.. and she got mad at me for being friends with this girl Rose ( who she doesn't like)... I don't even KNOW what to do. I got mad at her for that then so we didn't talk. Then we made up like always. Then one day she put me in this group chat in a text. Think about getting a text ever second. I had 100 messages in my inbox. So I texted and said to stop sending me the group chats because she does this everyday. She got mad at me for embarrassing her in front of everyone but everyone was talking about getting them out of this chat. So we didn't talk for a while. I got a new phone. She texted me and I didn't give her my number. I asked her how she got it, she said I gave it to her...? HECK NO. & she starting getting like REALLY annoying.... texting me and stuff.. she thinks we were friends again but I was ignoring her.. I told her I didn't want to be friends with sarcasm. I said " Yeah I'm going to be friends with someone who lets friends talk about me". She took that as we're friends again. I know she's dumb. The other day she asked me about this book and I said if you read the books you would know and she took that in a bad way.. and I was whatever?! and then she took that in a bad way. I just can't win what should I do??
