Does xbox 360 online progress transfer to different disks?
Last night, I was going to play some Blops 2 and when I put it in, my Xbox 360 said the disk was unreadable. When I went to clean it, I saw there was a circular scratch going all the way around. So one, is there a way to fix it? And if not, will my online progress (i.e. calling cards, camos, etc.) transfer to a new disk if i buy a new on? I really don't want to have to start from scratch again.

The ring on your disc is a laser burn and no, there's no way to repair it as the data underneath the laser burn has been destroyed. The only fix for this is to borrow a friends copy of the game and install it to your hard drive, then put your laser burned disc in and you should be able to play.
Your online progress is stored on Treyarchs servers and not on your hard drive or disc. If you sign into your account on a friends Xbox your online stats will be exactly the same as when you płay on yours.

Yes because all your status is saved on your Xbox Gamertag. If you use a different Xbox account then all data would not be on that account. Also I reccommend not buying a new disc and just renting one.
I had the same problem as you. All I did was rent a disk for a day and saved it onto my xbox's hard drive. After you do that you can run on your first disk.
