If you add a comment to a closed question, does the asker receive a notification? I just had a best answer chosen where I provided a link, but because yahoo is messed up on mobile devices and turns things like hyphens and apostrophes into a series of symbols (/), the link obviously didnt work.

I put the correct link in a comment underneath but will the asker be notified that Ive commented, or will I just have to hope he/she goes back and notices theres a comment?

I'm wondering if, after transferring stats and Premium across from BF4 on 360 to XB1, does that remove the Premium permissions from the 360?

Basically I want to give my 360 copy of BF4 to my boyfriend and, as I have a copy of my profile on his 360 and any map packs I download using my profile on his console he can use on his profile, I'm wondering if he can log into my profile and download all the map packs as they come out. Or is it a case of, now I've transferred all my stats to the XB1, my premium account permissions for the 360 have been removed?

I've had a google of this and checked out EAs page about upgrading BF4 to next-gen and can't find anything relating to it.

99.9% of the time I use yahoo answers on my phone and I just wanted to say how much I can't stand your stupid new toolbar which follows me down the page. Often it'll position itself right in the middle of what I'm writing and won't move if I scroll up which is such a pain in the a** I can't even begin to tell you.

Could you please please PLEASE get rid of this dumb*ss toolbar, I really see no logical need for it to follow me down the page, its irritating and it gets in the way, if I want to use your toolbar I'd rather just scroll up to the top of the page where the toolbar belongs.

Ok, just bought a fujitsu AH532, it comes with Intel HD 4000 Graphics but I'm wondering what the equivalent card for Nvidia and AMD would be? Purely for when I go into a shop, pick up a game and look at the minimum specs I know I'm buying a game that can actually run on my system.

It's a Dual-Core i5 processor which runs at 2.5ghz (3.1 possible with turbo) and it runs things like Skyrim and Battlefield 2 with no problems whatsoever, but I know from using sites like NotebookCheck that it will struggle with the more demanding games like Battlefield 3, Crysis 3 etc

So I'd just like to know what the benchmark is for other graphics card developers so I can buy in confidence, there's nothing worse than picking up a new game then getting home and realising you can't run it without lag...

Just wondering, I've bought a new laptop which is due to arrive tomorrow which has Windows 8 pre-installed, I have no desire to attempt to use Win8 and have a legitimate copy of Windows 7 I'm going to install. If I just put Windows 7 straight onto it when it arrives do I need to worry about updating drivers etc or downloading windows 7 drivers specifically? Or will it all be done automatically on install? (Are the drivers even any different?)

Ok, turned on my laptop this morning and everythings fine, leave it to go for a cigarette and come back to find my background has gone black and apparently my copy of Windows isnt genuine, so turn it off and on and am greeted by a message on the startup screen that my product name, serial and various other things are invalid or missing.

Wrang HP who basically said i can either pay £15.99 to speak to a Tech who has no guarantee of fixing it or i can take it in for repair. Surely theres a simple fix to this?? I suspect a virus thats just trolling me since when i attempt to verify my copy of windows it makes me download something then tells me my copy is couterfeit (its not) and that i need to pay £70 for a new one.

Any help or tips on this would be greatly appreciated, im going to run Norton and MalwareBytes and see what they drag up.

The door is shut, you cannot see anything through any cracks or anything else so the only way to determine the light is on is to enter the room, but you can only go in once and cannot come back out again to try another switch.

Ok, so i have recently become sexually active with guys, iv always had safe sex and always with the same guy. He's HIV negative but we've done oral and he did.....you know.

I know that the odds of contracting HIV in this way are pretty small and he's obviously Negative anyway, but obviously there are plenty of other things to catch this way. He's completly clean and i know he's not lying, but he is alot more sexually active than me and i know that sometimes infections like Hep B can go undetected, only showing up in later life when they cause liver problems etc..

Its been about a week since we were together last and from what iv gleaned online most STI's show up around the 3-5 day mark. Iv had no symptoms of anything, quite the opposite, im feeling on top of the world right now and i am not worried in the slightest that i actually have anything, but i want to always be sure and careful with my sexual health. So in your opinion, should i go and get tested anyway? Just for peace of mind?

Is there a term used for when you say a word but your mind coughs up two options and you end up saying an amalgamation of the two?

For example, when meeting someone for the first time, your brain tells you to say Hi and Hello at the same time so you end up saying Hi-lo.

I seem to do this an irritating amount of the time and was just wondering if theres a specific word for the phenomenon?

I'm 24 and have known I'm Bi for a long time, watch gay and straight porn in equal ammounts but find I'm more romantically attracted to women than men. I want to make a partition on my hard drive and format it to FAT32 so I can put some movies in there and play them through the PS3. Can I do this while there are files on the hard drive? (so keep all films, music, program's etc and just partition an empty space and then transfer to it) Or does the partitioning and formatting process erase all data?

I understand the basic concept of precipitation, clouds are formed by tiny particles of ice and water and once the water density reaches a certain point and a certain temperature, rain will fall, But how is "fine rain" formed? The drops aren't big enough to fall from the clouds due to their size so how does it happen?

Hi everyone. I am connecting to the Internet wirelessly through my neighbours router (who we pay £5 a month to use as we can't afford to get our own at the moment), they are with Orange and use their Lovebox to connect. Most of the time it's fine, but on a pretty regular basis it will get Limited/No Connectivity. Is there any way to fix this other than simply restarting the router?

Like I said, most of the time everything works fine but then we'll get this for like 4 days in a row and since I have to knock on our neighbours to reset it, it's pretty inconvenient for us both. I'm thinking it may be an issues with the router and not with the Orange connection itself but I'm hoping maybe there's something simple I can change in the settings that will stop this happening as it's a huge pain in the ***.

For some reason my iPhone keeps closing down safari whenever I'm on here (for example this is the second time iv written this question out as my phone closed safari before I finished and I lost everything I typed!)

it doesn't do it at specific times like when I'm changing pages or anything, it's just like it gives up after a while and takes me back to the homescreen. It will always take me back to where I was when I open safari again but like I said above, if iv been typing something I lose everything I typed, this can be such a huge pain in the *** if iv just written a lengthy answer to a question.

Anyone know why it's doing this or how to stop it? It only does it on Yahoo Answers, it's never hapened on any other site.

Im sick of trying to get the Easter Egg done with randoms. And im also sick of getting into a room when people cant even teleport to the moon the first time, i always end up having to give the zombies the run around until someone picks them up or just wait till they die so we dont need them to teleport.

Iv got the Cryogenic Slumber Party Achevo easily on my own but iv yet to find any players who can actually hold their own in a game, i always end up dying after the entire team goes down right at the beginning of a round and im stuck fighting 4 players worth of Zombies on my own.

Iv reached round 28 on Solo and only 18 with 4 players (usually thanks to incompetant team mates but i have screwed up a few times myself) if you are actually a good zombie player then send me a friend request, my GT is xO JEE Ox, please send me a message aswell just saying Zombies or something as i dont add random friend requests, so then i know to add you.

On the weekend, i bought a new laptop. Its a Compaq Presario CQ56-258SA. It obviously has a touch pad mouse (run by Synaptics Drivers) but every time i download something it stops working, (im currently downloading 3DS Max and have just noticed its stopped again!!)

Now this isn't a huge problem as i use a USB Mouse most of the time anyway, and even if i don't have the USB mouse iv found a quick fix (go into Mouse under Control Panel, select Hardware Tab and click Reset Device) but the point is iv just forked out £350 on a new laptop plus another £90 for Norton 360 and MS Office 2010 and the bloody thing should work properly!!

Now, ive tried deleting the Mouse drivers and then rebooting so it detects and downloads new drivers but that hasnt worked. Iv even done a full system restore and that didn't work. Anyone got any other bright ideas for me or am i just guna have to take it in for repair less than a week after i bought it?

In the morning all the muscles in my back were aching like crazy which I guess is to be expected.

But now, 4 days later, they're still really sore. It not all over any more but a more localised but large area (the best way for me to show where it is, is if you put one hand on each of your butt cheeks and then move your hands up to the middle of your back, that's the exact area I'm feeling discomfort)

I'm getting a little worried as it's been days since it started and it's getting worse. I bent down to tie my shoes this morning and couldn't even finish the first one before I had to stand up, my muscles were agony!

I'm obviously guna go to the doctor and see what's going on but if anyone has also experienced this or similar and has some advice for good ways to help, I'd really appreciate it.

Ok, iv borrowed a friends laptop to do my college assignments at home and the stupid thing keeps dropping the internet connection. This happens on ANY wireless network and connecting with an Ethernet cable does solve the problem. Now, using a cable to connect is all fine and dandy but at home i dont have my own router, i pay our neihbour £5 a month and use theirs (a hell of alot cheaper!!) so i cant connect with a wire. Before anyone starts reeling off the usual crap about being too far from the router and blah blah blah, im not a total retard, i know how a wireless internet connection works, iv sat literally within 1 foot of the router and it will still drop the connection.

To be more specific, ill be browsing the web normally with no problems and no slow connection or anything, and after a while the connection will just stop working. It still says im connected for a couple of minutes and then i get the red cross andit says im not connected. I cannot then just re-establish the connection because it wont find the router once its dropped the connection, i have to restart the computer and it will find it and automatically connect me to it. This is such a massive pain in the *** i cant even describe it, its worse when im watching videos, it drops the connection alot quiker.

If anyone has had this problem before or has any GOOD suggestions as to what might fixit id greatly appreciate it!

I recently JailBreak'd my 2G iPhone and i then sent it off to get the battery replaced. I got it back this morning and it's not working properly. All the apps i downloaded are still there but most dont open. When i open cydia it takes FOREVER, i know cydia is slow anyway but this honestly takes the piss. When it finally does load up it says i have 4 essential upgrades but shortly after i start them it says all the hosts are unreachable and all the chaches have failed. I cant lock it, i cant turn it off and i cant get it to reboot. What the hell have these retards done to my phone?!?!?
