Metalheads Unite 5. Any amazing songs released in the last year?
Bored? Looking for new music? Well here we are again, but with rules this time for our three metal songs...
In light of new stuff from bands like Suffocation, Nails, Devourment, Darkthrone, and the like, I have been Inspired to ask of you three amazing tracks from albums released in the last year (Any 2012-13 is fine). Again, any sub-gere...
Some that I have found:
1) Timor et Tremor - Solstice
Ultra Melodic tremolo picked pagan black metal from Germany. In every way this album should bore me as it has all been done before, but still I immensely enjoyed it... Even had trouble singling out one song for this purpose.

2) Ketha - Blob
Hailing from Poland Ketha is a Math inspired techy Death Band. Strange and experimental stuff going on. Their 2007 release was killer as well...

3) Undergang - Kloakkens Afkom
Sludgy down-tempo Danish Death Metal resembling the mass of Doomy Death Finnish bands of the 90's. Their full length last year was impressive and even better was their debut, but this split with Funebrarum was simply phenomenal. Don't miss either song from this split album!

that's all more underground than anything I listen to, so I probably don't have anything you haven't heard before, but I'll try anyway.
Pirunpaska by Stam1na http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVQp6dUtc_8
And Plague Flowers The Kaleidoscope by Ne Obliviscaris http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMorAdnCixg
The Paranoid by Ihsahn http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZtdVSPaZE4
That band Ketha is really something, you got the low palm muted death metal sound, and then all these funky rythms and nu-metal-esk vibe to it, really digging it.

As I Lay Dying- Awakened
If you like the genre every track on the album holds it own and doesn't get old.
All That Remains-A War You Cannot Win
Lighter than their older stuff, but a more mature sound where they still have some cool riffs.
Shadows Fall- Fire From The Sky
Don't know too much about this band, but this album is what got me into them.
