I need a pretty easy cello audition piece?

My range is the c string to e (2 ledger lines above the staff) minus f# (c string), c# (g string), and g# (d string). Tricky rhythms don't bother me- I've been playing trombone for 6 years. I would also prefer a classical piece, as this is going to be an audition piece. It can't be too easy though, i have time to prepare, and i want to impress (with the abilities that i have) and help is greatly appreciated!

You should really discuss this with your teacher. Without hearing you play it's difficult to assess your abilities. At your next lesson ask your teacher to help you pick a piece.

Have a look at the website IMSLP and see if you can find something that you can play.
