Can i find the area using this method?
I tried finding the area of an irregular shape by dividing the shape into three triangles then i found the perimeter of the triangles and added them up and since there were 3 triangles i multiplied it by three. My friend had the same answer using the LxW method. So will my method always work?

No dear I don't think this will work every time.
N if still u r not satisfied then try one more sum..
