I am trying to write a script for my 5 minute movie?

I have trouble writing scripts myself but what I normally do is work off of something like say i see a stuffed bear. Say it is important to a little girl. The little girl loses it and searches everywhere for it. she starts looking in places like her closet but to her it is a cave with a monster and she has to overcome her fear of said monster to find her bear leading her on an adventure finding old stuffed dolls that help her on her journey and so on and so on. Once you have your story down, make sure you write down all of your characters and places they are going to be in like the room, closet, cave, hallway. Then you write your characters with their dialogue. once you have that then you should put down the actions that they will do within the conversations like The little girl opens her bedroom door and sticks out her heat "Mom I don't have time to pick up my socks I am on a very important mission to find Mr. snuggles". When you write down a new scene make sure you indicate if it is inside or outside, daytime or night time by saying INT. DAY BEDROOM or EXT. NIGHT.

I would suggest you download a program called Celtx. It's free to download and it pretty much sets up the script formatting, all you have to do is type in what goes where. It's really easy. But as for what I told you, that's all I can say. I wish you luck on your script writing.
