Terrorist now called Freedom Fighters in School?

The British thought the founding fathers were terrorists.. which by definition was exactly what they were. It was through terrorism that the US became free from the British Empire and Americans became free not have to give their resources, taxes and the fruits of their labour to British aristocracts.

Perhaps Arabs want to be free from the US empire and not have to hand over their resources, taxes and the fruits of their labour to American capitalists.

It's certainly an unorthodox view on things, however, not all terrorist are so called "freedom fighters" many are just filled with unexplained hatred that was brainwashed into them by their elders and older influences, and some men just want to blow everything up because they believe that it will help them go to their heaven. Btw, ethnic cleansing can be taken offensively. Cleansing implies you're cleaning somethingthat was dirty. Jews are in no way Dirty. Hitler used Jews as a scapegoat and milllions of people listened to him without ever proving the Jews were bad people. Ur geography teacher can not prove that they will go to heaven, nor does he know the true intentions of the terrorists. She is simply making assumptions based on her current knowledge. Unless she has been part of that terrorist organization and knows everythign that goes on there, she doesn't have concrete solid proof. Just stuff she heard from countless sources of media, etc. Honestly a teacher's job is extremely important. It's actually almost unbelievable how much influence they have on a kid. They can easily give a student wrong information. That student will believe that the wrong information is the truth, and this will often cause conflict. Good teachers are a necessity. And all the uneducated kids are also because of the bad teachers, and the studen'ts unwillingness to comply. But if he/she was atruly great teacher he/she should be able to hold the studen'ts attention. My Us history teacher was absolute trash at teaching.. All she would do is stand by her fricking podium thing then read the textbook to us for 58 minutes. She also has an extremely monotonous voice, no talking allowed either. Even if i had a passion to learn history i would still have been put to sleep by this horrible teacher. Not only did she fail to explain anythign she read. When we asked her questions she didn't know the answers either. Often creating confusion as to whether what she says is right or not. Literally, i kid you not, 80% of the kids would be face down sleeping. And she doesn't do anything about it. I was completely outraged that a teacher like this is still able to teach. Not only did i not remember a single thing form that class, but if i were to ask my other classmates none of them would remember either. My Physics honors teacher, best teacher i've ever had in my life. Not only was he enthusiastic and energetic. He was VERY VERY good at physics and could answer any question you asked him. If you needed help with somethign he always gave clear instructions and how to's. his tests are all fair even if they are hard sometimes. He is also very funny and all the student laugh at his jokes, making us far from falling asleep. As you can see there are huge differences between these two teachers. despite being different subjects, they are just complete opposites. This is why America is falling apart, poor teachers, and so many people are so reliant on the media. The media is not an absolute truth by any means. Yet, "oh i heard it on t.v. so it much be true" Is just being ignorant and narrow minded. This shows that people are affected greatly by media, and if the government were to give us false information many people would believe it. similar to the teacher giving wrong informatino to the student.

I know we strive to be more PR in our nation, but there are some things you can't get around or shouldn't be softened up.

I feel like the "freedom fighters" one has to be a joke, especially given the "heaven" claim to it. While I can see some schools trying to use terms other than "terrorist", in order not to offend certain students, pushing that claim is hands down against school policy in our nation. Where it's more acceptable, they wouldn't be calling them freedom fighters, either. Though, it also depends on what kind of school this is, too.

This is, of course, if it isn't in the context of the teacher explaining how they view themselves, and not pushing her own views onto the students. If the latter, this that's against school policy, and very, very worrisome in many regards. As it stands, I think teachers are supposed to explain why the US considers certain groups terrorists instead of 'freedom fighters'.

Concerning the Holocaust, at least she's not denying it. However, it's incorrect on a few levels to say "ethnic cleansing". For starters, Jews were not targeted solely as an ethnic group. Yes, they were seen as such, but if you converted, which doesn't change your ethnicity, you were similarly targeted. In addition, it targeted homosexuals, handicapped persons, and those with specific political affiliations, so it's wrong on those levels too when their ethnic component could have been straight up German.

America has issues if this is the new standard, I will give you that. But I hope that Americans aren't moving in this general direction. At least, when parents find out, this teacher will find herself accountable for a lot of things.

Your teacher is trying to show you students that hate exists by demonizing foreign people you have never met, only heard about from dishonest sources in the media.

If you were walking down the street as a foreign missile fired from a drone and controlled by someone in a trailer 8000 miles away, would they not be terrorists? Would you not be a Freedom Fighter if you tried to repel or resist these attacks?

Ethnic cleaning is a political correct term. And a good one. It has been used throughout history and still today in Dafur and Rwanda.

The Jewish people prior to the 1947 accord to create Israel called it the Holocaust to set themselves apart from Gentile terminology. Killing another human being for not being born unto your own society is selective homicide, hence the term "Ethnic Cleansing"

America is falling apart both morally and politically. 7 countries invaded in 5 years and counting.

We in the rest of the civilized countries of the world call it murder, a crime against humanity and those responsible should be punished.

No surprise at all, because most American people support their Government to rob others people countries of their right , integrity and enormous valuable natural resources by labeling them as Terrorists ,a lot of injustice going on and millions of innocent lives being butchered .

Now, GOD is Just, the tide turn another way round, American people have to pay their prices by changing the definition of Terrorist to its proper meaning and they are now biting their own fingers, all are bleeding killing among themselves as in the news.See how the Roman Empire fall ,its fall within itself and US is following suit.

This teacher should be fired far slapping her students with this garbage and should be reported to school officials and if they don't act take it to the local and world-wide news as well as the PTA meetings!
