How do you find out the size of your desktop background?

I want to create an image in Photoshop but I do not know the size of my background, someone help?

    For Windows, right-click on the desktop (not on an icon), select Properties, Settings and look at the figures for Screen Resolution.

    Normal dimension of wallpaper to be use on your system depends upon what monitor resolution you've got had. To verify this, correct click on on your computer, click on on residences, go to settings tab and notice your current monitor resolution and there that you would be able to additionally see that these sizes are in pixels.
