Are Welder watches a good brand?

Never heard of that brand before.

My guess is that even at the "discounted" price,

it's very much overpriced.

Such watches are in a category called "fashion".

If you like it enough, fork over the money

and don't be concerned about value.

I prefer practical watches like the Seiko 5H23-8A09 I bought almost 24 years ago.

Over that period of time, it has needed only slight attention

beyond replacement of the cell once every year or two.
