Just as in the old Confederacy there is a large portion of the population already prejudiced against blacks, Hitler's Germany had a substantial number of Jew haters already. Martin Luther himself was a violent anti Semite who advocated locking Jews into their synagogues and setting them on fire.

Where your analogy fails is that the people who are trying to use our own prejudiced group of racists are, in fact, the Republicans. You don't see Liberals or Democrats using online names like "Black Bolshevik," "Can I Haz Banana" or "President Lawn Jockey," just to name a few. Read some of the racist garbage posted by Conservatives on this site.

The wealthy have turned on the rest of us. For decades they have worked to remove the restraints on the market that protected the small investor, and they have raped us repeatedly. Are you old enough to remember the savings and loan disasters of the Reagan years? This latest disaster is simply the latest and largest.

He is clearly trying to make this a one party govt by blaming anyone who does not see things his way. And God help you if you notice any or all of his lies and mistakes. Beware, one party governments are called dictatorships. I just truly wish Americans would stop listening to the politics and actually start paying attention to what is actually happening. The wealthy seem to be doing that themselves. They are so gosh darn lovable, but can't quite get the message across to the straving masses that they are screwing over.
