Statistics help. Can anyone walk me through this step by step?

In 2005 national league baseball players earned an average salary of $2,585,684 with a standard deviation of 3, 500,708. Assuming that these data are normally distributed what was the salary of a player in the 64th percentile?

Update:

A note on what to use in excel would be cool too.

You need to find the z score for the 64th percentile. Using either charts or TI calculator InvNorm

    Using the TI Calculator 2nd Vars #3 InvNorm(.64) = .358

    2,585,684 + .358(3,500,708)=3,838,937.46
