Will a pretrial diversion will it show on a background?
Im currently under pretrial in the state of LA three months ago for a work related fraud due to timesheet over laping on the weekend. Was working two jobs careing for terminally ill family member. My record was clear beside a past misderminor 9 yrs ago for sale of alcohol (store test) so I was offered a pretrial 5 yrs no arrest made. im curently employed and looking for another job(working as a guard) and wanted to know if it will show on my background being that im just starting the pretrail? And if so how do I disclose this to employers if not asked on application? Really need a new job soon cant see my self staying current job for 5yrs due to toll its taking on my health

Until the pretrial diversion is completed, the charge will show as pending. If you are applying for a job and the employer does not ask about your criminal history, you are under no obligation to tell the employer. If the employer asks, then you simply need to be truthful about the situation and not try to cover it up.

Your criminal record has two segments. There is an arrest segment and a disposition segment. If you were finger printed, the arrest will still show. Under disposition, it will say something like "the person was not found guilty and should be presumed innocent".
You may be eligible for an expungement. That would clear the entire record.
